ECI releases data on gender-based voting. Voting took place for 14 Lok Sabha seats in the second phase of voting in Karnataka. The first phase of voting was held on 26 April.



ECI said that 21.03 percent people from other categories have cast their votes. Karnataka's voting percentage in the second phase was 71.84 percent.



In Bidar Lok Sabha seat, the voting percentage of female voters (65.78 percent) is more than that of male voters (65.19 percent). The high profile Shivamogga parliamentary seat also saw the highest number of women voters (77.79 per cent) among the 1 seats.



Kalaburagi Lok Sabha seat, another high-profile Lok Sabha seat, recorded the lowest turnout of women voters (61.38 per cent).



The percentage of 'other category' voters in Bagalkot was 26.73 percent. Belagavi (21.05), Ballari (33.46), Bidar (12.62), Bijapur (15.24) Chikkodi (37.50), Davangere (26.28), Dharwad (26.00), Kalaburagi (10.99) Haveri (28.92), Koppal (29.63), Raichur ( 7.36), Shivamogga (37.14) and Uttara Kannada (31.25).
