Jaipur: A 24-year-old woman and her three-year-old son were found hanging in their house in a village in Rajasthan's Banswara district on Monday, police said.

Ambapura police station in-charge Kalu Lal said that Shakuntala (24) and her son Piyush (3) were found hanging near the stairs in the house in Kundla Khurd village.

He told that no suicide note has been recovered from the house.

The real reason will be revealed when the father and husband of the deceased reach here. He said that the bodies have been kept in the hospital mortuary for post-mortem.

The police station in-charge told that the husband of the deceased works in Hyderabad and at the time of the incident, the father-in-law had gone to the fields, while the mother-in-law had gone to work as a labourer.

He told that the father of the deceased works as a laborer in Maharashtra.

The police station officer said that the post-mortem will be conducted after the arrival of the deceased's father and husband.

Police said that no case has been registered in this regard yet.
