“In the overall foodservice market, quick service restaurants (QSR) and casuarina dining restaurants (CDR) are the strongest drivers of growth. Our leading brand, Social, is positioned at the intersection of a café and bar and falls under the CDR category. ,There is immense growth potential in this segment,” Amlani Toll.Based on its experience, the impresario plans to open 10-15 new social outlets annually. He said the company has seen double-digit revenue growth this year (FY24) compared to FY23.

“We remain excited and optimistic about our growth in India and will continue to expand Social into new neighborhoods in the year ahead,” Amlan said.

The impresario has a network of over 60 restaurants in over 20 Indian cities.

According to data accessed through business intelligence platform Tofler Impresario, total consolidated revenue stood at Rs 573.66 crore in FY23.On expansion, Amlani said the company is pursuing a two-pronged strategy "B growing into new tier-II cities and focusing on state capitals, and going deeper into existing markets to reach more neighborhoods ".

In 2023, it opened social outlets in new markets such as Dehradun, Kolkata and Hyderabad.

“Apart from the existing cities – Mumbai, Bangalore, New Delhi, Pune, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Gurugram, Chandigarh, Indore, Dehradun and Faridabad; we are excited about the expansion and are looking forward to expanding into new cities this year.

“We will expand opportunities where we can provide differentiated local experiences,” he said.

The company is adopting a strategy of having different formats of outlets depending on the region and various other factors.“Currently, we have standalone stores, mall outlets in prime neighborhoods and some of our outlets in Bangalore and Mumbai are also present inside corporate parks. It also operates various cloud kitchen brands such as Boss Burgers, Lucknow and Aflatoon by SocialL, which primarily operates from social premises offering a variety of culinary offerings.

He said, “Today, a major part of our revenue comes from these cloud kitchen brands and I currently account for 10 to 12 percent of our total business.,
