In the letter, Kharge expressed concern over the use of abusive and hateful comments against Rahul Gandhi.

He also questioned the silence of BJP leaders over the Nawada fire incident and asked, "When will the Prime Minister visit the violence-affected region?"

In her letter, Nadda reminded Kharge of the derogatory comments made by former Congress chiefs Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and other party leaders against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The BJP National President alleged that Congress leaders had insulted the Prime Minister more than 110 times in the last decade and questioned why the Congress had "forgotten the principles of political decency back then".

Nadda mentioned several derogatory comments made by Congress leaders towards Prime Minister Modi in her letter, also alleging that Prime Minister Modi's parents were also insulted.

Responding to this letter, Khera commented, "The Prime Minister's silence and the BJP's response make it clear who is behind the threats to kill Rahul Gandhi."

"The Prime Minister did not even bother to respond to Kharge's letter, and the response given was the most illogical, showing his support to those who were threatening to kill Rahul Gandhi," she added.

Focusing on the Nawada incident in Bihar, where houses of several Dalits were set on fire, the Congress leader expressed his deep concern and called the footage "heartbreaking".

More than 25 houses in the Dalit settlement in Nawada village were burnt down by miscreants over a property dispute. According to villagers, many houses were reduced to ashes during the fire.

Opposition parties have also blamed the government for "failing" to curb the rise in crimes against marginalized communities across the country.

"Is this the 'New India' that the Prime Minister talks about? Is there no place for Dalits in this 'New India'?" Khera questioned.

He further criticized the Prime Minister and asked, "Will the Prime Minister visit Nawada? He did not go to Manipur; maybe he will go to Nawada."
