Alleging that the Constitution and democracy are in danger, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Monday claimed that if Prime Minister Narendra Modi wins the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, there will be no elections in future.

Addressing an election rally in Jharkhand's Hazaribagh, Kharge also attacked the PM over the arrest of former CM Hemant Soren and challenged him to arrest "Adani and Ambani".

He claimed, "The Constitution and democracy are in danger, and the people are also in danger. If you do not have fundamental rights, you will be slaves. If Modi wins this time, there will be no future elections."

"You arrested Hemant Soren, why are you not arresting Adani and Ambani?" He said this while hitting back at the Prime Minister, who had earlier alleged that the Congress received "cash in tempo" from two businessmen to stop "abusing" its leader Rahu Gandhi.

Kharge said that if the opposition alliance comes to power, all India Bloc leaders arrested by the BJP government at the Center will be released.

He claimed that it is impossible for Modi to return to power this time.

Kharge also alleged that those who donated to BJP through Electora Bonds got big contracts.
