Dhule (Maharashtra), Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Sunday claimed that the third term of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Ami Shah will mean that the poor, Dalits and tribals will be "treated like slaves".

Addressing a campaign rally in Maharashtra's Dhule constituency, Kharge accused Modi of failing to fulfill his promises of bringing back black money and providing jobs.

“Before independence, the poor, Dalits and tribals were treated like slaves. I give third term to Modi and Shah, the same situation will be repeated. We will become slaves again.

The Congress has fielded former MLA Shobha Bachhav from Dhule Lok Sabha constituency against former Union minister Subhash Bhamre of the BJP, where voting will be held on May 20.“RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat had said in 2015 that the Constitution should be changed. Later, several BJP MPs and saffron party leaders also made similar statements,” Kharge said.

He accused PM Modi of "spreading lies".

Kharge said Modi boasted about bringing back black money from abroad but never fulfilled his promise.

He claimed to provide two crore jobs every year, but never did so. According to his claims, instead of increasing the income of farmers, his wrong policies increased the cost of production for producers.Kharge said, therefore Modi should be removed from power.

He also raised the issue of social unrest due to ethnic conflict in Manipur.

He said, "When the people of Manipur were suffering so much, Modi did not speak a single word about it. He is a coward who did not even go there. On the other hand, Rahul Gandhi started his Nyaya Yatra from there and brought justice to the people." Also talked to.,

"Modi talks about 'sabka saath, sabka vikas', but what he has done is 'sabka annihilation'," the Congress leader said.

Kharge said that if voted to power, the Congress government will fill all the 30 lakh vacant seats in various departments of the central government.

"Modi did not fill these vacancies because doing so would have meant imposing quotas. He did not want more Dalits and backward communities to get jobs," he alleged.

Kharge also accused the BJP of trying to create communal divide in the country. The Congress president said, "Instead of talking about his actions, Modi talks about Hindu-Muslim issues. He talks about Mughals, Muslims and 'Mangalsutra', which is divisive. You talk about all the people all the time. Cannot be fooled."

Citing some "internal reports", he claimed that Maharashtra, which sends 4 members to the Lok Sabha, would give the maximum seats to the India block.
