The Bhojpuri star had snatched the seat from SP in the 2022 by-elections and handed it over to BJP.

Nirahua, in an exclusive interview with IANS, said that SP's script of dynastic politics has become a 'super flop' and added that they have no answer to BJP's nationalist politics. He also talked about many other election issues.

Here is the full interview:

IANS: You won the 2022 by-election. How difficult is the fight this time?

Dinesh Nirahua: No problem. For a long time, those who were given a chance from here have run away. The public has also understood that (the opposition) runs away, whether they win or lose.

BJP was given a chance and the lotus blossomed. So much work has been done here in one and a half years that the people here have understood that Azamgarh will develop rapidly only under the BJP government and they fully support us.IANS: SP candidate Dharmendra Yadav says he doesn't take you seriously and accuses you of blindly following BJP's script. What do you have to say?

Dinesh Nirahua: We (BJP) have the script of nationalism and nation-first policy, we take our work to the grassroots level. They (SP) have a script of dynastic politics, which is a super flop, but still they are sticking to it.

IANS: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) candidate Guddu Jamali (Shah Alam) is being considered the factor of AAP's victory in the 2022 by-elections. Now that he is with the SP, how challenging is it?

Dinesh Nirahua: Has the entire vote bank of BSP gone with SP due to Gud Jamali joining SP? It is not so. By contesting the elections alone, he has been able to garner only 5000-700 votes.

Yes, in 2019 there was an alliance between SP and BSP and due to that Akhilesh Yadav got victory. But, when SP fought alone in 2022, Dharmendra Yadav lost the election and in 2024 he is facing the same situation again.

IANS: Is Azamgarh also known as Mulayamgarh?

Dinesh Nirahua: The Yadavs here have understood in 2019 and 2022 that whether they (BJP) win or lose, they will be there. However, whether they (SP) win or lose, they will migrate.Only Dinesh Lal Nirahua has worked here. Yadav community is also with us.

IANS: SP MLA Ramakant Yadav is in jail, while his son Arunkant Yadav is in BJP. How is he helping you?

Dinesh Nirahua: No matter who is in our party, everyone is working hard to achieve victory.

IANS: Your statement on employment is much discussed. The opposition also raised a lot of questions. What do you have to say?

Dinesh Nirahua: The opposition escalated the matter by editing my statement. Neither said anything about Hindu nor about Muslim. The opposition gets appeasement everywhere.

IANS: Bhojpuri actor and singer is now contesting elections after earning fame and money. How do you see it?

Dinesh Nirahua: Anyone can contest elections in a democracy. Anyone who wants to contest elections can contest elections from anywhere. What is the problem with this?

IANS: You are demanding Ahir Regiment. Do you think this is possible in Agniveer Yojana?

Dinesh Nirahua: There should be Ahir regiment. The opposition is opposing the Agniveer scheme without knowing anything about it. In this scheme, along with training, money is also being given. When they retire, they will have a good amount of money. They will be able to start their own business and will also get priority in jobs.

IANS: The opposition is targeting you by raising issues like unemployment and allegations of constitutional change if it comes to power. Your take?

Dinesh Nirahua: When the opposition does not get anything, they start spreading propaganda. Our Prime Minister has made complete schemes for the youth.India will become a manufacturing hub in the coming times. Everyone will have employment.
