Imphal (Manipur) [India], Manipur BJP President Sharda Devi expressed confidence that the people of Manipur will vote for the party in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Speaking to ANI, Sharda Devi said, "I am confident that people will vote for you. In the Lok Sabha elections, BJP will work for peace and people's welfare in the state. When asked about the opposition, she said that in the last election People had also trusted us. The party claims that the BJP did not make efforts to stop the situation of violence in the state. On this, Sharda Devi said, "The opposition, who allege that we (BJP) are not trying to stop the situation of violence in the state. Failed to stop the violence, it was during his tenure. The Kuki-Naga (struggle) lasted for 6 years.Speaking about the violence in the state, he said, "BJP is doing everything possible for the betterment of Manipur. Whatever we are facing today is because of the actions done by the opposition party in the past. We have planted It has been sown, it will happen today." No benefit now...we will benefit in the coming days. Meanwhile, 29 special polling stations have been set up ahead of the Lok Sabha elections for around 5,000 people who are currently sheltering in camps."Voting arrangements have been made as per the guidance received from the central government," polling officials told ANI. The deputy commissioner said peace has returned in the last one or two months.
