Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], Amid the controversy over Hyderabad BJP candidate Madhav Lata allegedly pretending to shoot an arrow at a mosque in Hyderabad during the Ram Navami yatra, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi said that he will not accept the indecent and provocative actions of BJP-RSS. Is this the 'Vikit Bharat' that BJP is talking about that instead of elections, peace is the main priority of the people in Hyderabad. "The people of Hyderabad have seen through the intentions of the BJP. They will not accept the vulgar and provocative actions of the BJP-RSS. Is this the 'Vikshit Bharat' BJP that I am talking about? There is a bigger thing than the elections, Hyderabad. There is peace. I am confident that the people of Telangana will vote against the BJP which is against peace in the state.He said, "Elections have their place. But more important than elections is the peace of Telangana and Hyderabad, brotherhood prevails here, which they (BJP) want to destroy. I am confident that the people of Telangana will vote against the BJP, who are against peace in the state," Owaisi said while speaking to ANI. Responding to Madhavi Latha's controversial gesture on Rao Navami day, Owaisi expressed confidence in the people of Hyderabad. Expressing that the people of the city as well as Telangana are aware of this intention, the AIMIM chief also appealed to them to use their franchise wisely, “They want to destroy the image of Hyderabad.Peace is essential for the prosperity of Telangana. What they did yesterday, the video which is not being telecasted by you, shows your (media) bias." RSS and BJP had done such act before the religious structure! They have already harmed the people of Hyderabad and Telangana. Have seen what future they want for Telangana and Hyderabad. Hyderabad should see what they are trying to do and vote wisely," he said. "They (people of Hyderabad) will not accept the indecent and provocative actions of the BJP-RSS. Till yesterday you (BJP) were abusing me and now you are doing so! What is your message? Is this Narendra Modi's 'Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas'? Is this the 'developing India' that BJP is talking about? On elections in Tamil Nadu, where voting will take place in the first phase of Lok Sabha elections on Friday, the AIMIM chief said he is supporting the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK). “In Tamil Nadu, we are supporting AIADMK.I have spoken to the former Chief Minister and General Secretary of AIADMK, he has said that he is not in alliance with BJP nor will he be in alliance with BJP in future.''
