Nagpur: A couple was killed and six people were injured when their SUV collided with a parked car in Nagpur on Sunday. A police officer gave this information.
The Butibori police station official identified the deceased as Rajes Srivastava (52) and his wife Pooja Srivastava (45), both residents of Ra Nagar in Wardha.
"The six injured include five members of the Srivastava family and the driver of the vehicle. They were going from Wardha to Nagpur in their SUV to attend a wedding," he said.
The officer said the SUV driver lost control of the vehicle and hit a parked car and then a tractor trolley before overturning.
Butibori police station official said that a case has been registered under the Indian Penal Code and Motor Vehicles Act.
