Both Anjali and Neha were brutally murdered by 'hooked lovers', raising questions over law and order in Hubli city and the state.

Karnataka Home Minister while further talking about Neha murder case said, "Neha Hiremath was murdered by Fayaz. Unfortunately, the case has been given a political colour. Responding to BJP's claim of breakdown of law and order in Karnataka, Parameshwara said, "During the BJP's tenure between January and April 2021, 49 murder cases were reported. In the same period in 2022, the number of murders will rise to 466." There were 431 cases in 2023 and 430 cases in 2024. This data proves that during whose period more murders took place.
