New Delhi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday lauded the Smritivan Earthquake Memorial Museum in Bhuj for being listed among the seven most beautiful museums in the world under the prestigious Prix Versailles award.

In a post on 'X', Shah said Smritivan's listing under the prestigious Prix Versailles award will spread across the world the fragrance of memories of those who lost their lives in the 2001 Bhuj earthquake.

“It is a touching moment for all of us as Smritivan in Kutch has been included in the prestigious world selection for the Prix Versailles Museum 2024.

“Envisioned by PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji, Smritivan is a museum that preserves the memories of those lost in the devastating earthquake of 2001.
