Working hard is one thing, but having a solid backup makes the process easier. Jarmanpreet Singh hails from Punjab, a state that has time and again produced exceptional hockey players for the country. Defender Jarmanpreet, known for his skills, made his debut for the Indian men's hockey team at the 2018 Men's Hockey Champions Trophy in Breda, where India finished second. He was part of the team that won the gold medal at the 2018 Men's Asia Champions Trophy in Muscat, Oman.

The 27-year-old played an integral role in the Indian men's hockey team's third-place finish at the 2021 Men's Asian Champions Trophy in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He was also part of the silver medal-winning team at the 2020 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. He was a member of the Indian squad for the FI Odisha Hockey Men's World Cup 2023 Bhubaneswar-Rourkela as well as the FI Hockey Pro League 2022/23. Jarmanpreet won the gold medal with the Indian men's hockey team at the 2023 Asian Games in Hangzhou. And is currently part of the team playing in the Europe stage of the FIH Hockey Pro League 2023/24.
