New Delhi, Hockey India on Tuesday announced the inauguration of the Masters Cup, a premier tournament in which experienced players from men's and women's categories will participate.

The event is designed to celebrate the enduring passion and skills of veteran hockey players.

All State Member Units affiliated to Hockey India are eligible to participate in the event and all eligible experienced players above 40 years of age, who wish to participate in the tournament, are required to contact their respective Member Units and Hockey India Member Registration has to be done through the unit portal. ,

The dates and venues of the tournament will be announced soon.

“We are thrilled to announce the first-ever Hockey India Masters Cup, an event that honors the dedication and passion of our seasoned players. This tournament is a celebration of their enduring love for the game and a testament to their invaluable contribution to hockey. The proof is India,” HI President Dilip Tirkey said in a statement.
