The Cabinet meeting held here under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu also decided to provide the state share of the capital cost for the construction of Bulk Drug Park in Haroli assembly constituency of Una and approved calling its tender.
The Cabinet approved additional areas of Shimla's Retreat, Mashobra, Band Tukda Andri, Shiv Mandi Andri, Tal and Giri as DPF. Khalini, B.C.S. Within the scope of Mist Chamber and Parimahal Green Area in Shimla Development Plan.
It accepted the recommendations of the Cabinet Sub-Committee on the pending results of post-codes 903 and 939 related to Junior Office Assistant and entrusted the task of declaring the final results for both the postcodes to the HP State Selection Commission at Hamirpur.
The Cabinet also approved creation and filling up of 486 posts of Lecturer Physical Education and 157 additional posts of Principal School cadre in the Education Department.
It was decided to fill 245 posts of special teachers in the Education Department to provide education to children with special needs.
The Cabinet also approved filling up of 53 posts of various categories of fire officers and functionaries and 60 posts of various categories of police personnel in the Home Department for deployment at heliports in the state.
Further, the Cabinet decided to fill 30 posts of various categories for the smooth functioning of Himachal Pradesh State Selection Commission, Hamirpur.
