CHENNAI: Rajasthan Royals' Shimron Hetmyer has been fined 10 per cent of his match fee for violating the IPL code of conduct during Qualifier 2 against Sunrisers Hyderabad here.
SRH won the match by 36 runs on Friday.
Although the organizers did not explain why Hetmyer was fined, it may have been due to his reaction after his dismissal. Hetmyer tried to break the stump in frustration after he was bowled by Abhishek Sharma in the 14th over of the chase.
