New Delhi, Hero MotoSports Team Rally riders Ross Branch, Sebastian Buhler and Nacho Cornejo put in a good performance in the fourth and final stage of the 2024 edition of the Desafio Ruta 40.

Branch, Buehler and Cornejo, who were competing in the Premier Rally GP class, finished fourth, seventh and ninth respectively.

Branch took a time of 3 hours 3 minutes and 05 seconds, while Buehler took a time of 3 hours 9 minutes and 51 seconds and Cornejo took a time of 3 hours 23 minutes and 08 seconds.

Covering more than 650 kilometers in the saddle, competitors found the second loop around La Rioja both difficult and tiring.

In total, the competitors had to cover a 264 kilometer road section and a distance of 391 kilometers against time in the long day.

The current leader of the World Championships, Branch showed consistent performance from the beginning.

With only one stage left, the competitors will now focus on improving their position.

Stage 5 will resume in a southeasterly direction towards Córdoba, the host city of this edition of the DR40.

This will be another long stage with 218 kilometers of competitive racing and over 300 kilometers of racing on the road.
