Washington [US], Actor Matthew McConaughey shared how his three children Levi, 15, Vida, 14, and Livingston, 11, with wife Camila Alvey McConaughey, have made him a better actor, reports People. "I know that having kids has made them a better actor. I'm a better actor and it's made me a better actor, because kids see things for the first time all the time, they have innocent questions," he said. "I've become a better storyteller because I have kids, that is, I come home from work watching something like True Detective, and my 4-year-old says, 'What did you do today?' I can't tell them what the show is actually about, it's not age-appropriate, so I have to go into an illustration for them," McConaughey continued, "and so I have to tell my kids a good story." Had to become a better storyteller to tell the story of a boy, a bad guy and a monster, the famous actor who was in 'Amistad'. Known for his acting in 'The Wedding Planner' and many more, he has realized that he has never worked on age-appropriate projects as he watches his children grow up "like When you become a parent, what do you see in the end? You ultimately see what your kids are seeing, and so I said, 'Man, I've never been a part of an animated movie,' and I love doing voice work,'" he said. Eventually, McConaughey Signed on to star in the 2016 animated film 'Sing,' in which he starred alongside Taron Egerton, Scarlett Johansson and Tori Kelly, "They thought it was cool," McConaughey said of his three children, " I remember sitting with him at the premiere, listening, and going." 'Hey, it feels like...' And they have that moment where they look at the screen and the audio, and see me sitting next to them and doing the math.It was good for them, and it was something I did for them – and for all of our children. McConaughey reflects on his childhood years and reveals if he would give any advice to his younger self "Oh, I wouldn't tell him. I'd let him figure it out the same way I did," said the star, who through his work Gives back from efforts like the Greenlights Grant Initiative with the Just Keep Livin' Foundation "Take feeder roads off the highway. Get confused, frustrated, feel lost and get over it," he adds, "I think the amount of sweat I put out there, or the blood that was drawn, was healthy for me," McConaughey said, reported People.
