Aligarh (Uttar Pradesh) [India], Samajwadi Party candidate from Aligarh Lok Sabha seat Chaudhary Bijendra Singh on Thursday alleged that "BJP committed dishonesty in the recently concluded elections" and decided to move court.

Chaudhary Bijendra Singh said, "BJP committed dishonesty in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. I have decided to go to court. My lawyer is also ready. They will not be spared.,

-BJP candidate Satish Gautam won from Aligarh. This is his third consecutive term in Aligarh. Singh further alleged that officials were put under pressure by the PMO and demanded a recount of votes.

He further said, "Initially the officers were doing fine but later they were put under pressure. They were also put under pressure from the PMO. Big leaders convinced them.,

Speaking about the involvement of the district magistrate, he said, "Even though the DM says there was no voting malpractice, his team officials know it very well. I demand a recount."

It is noteworthy that in a close contest, BJP's Satish Kumar Gautam got 5,01,834 votes, while SP's Bijendra Singh got 5,01,834 votes. Gautam won by 15,647 votes.

In a closely fought battle for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Shiv Sena candidate Ravindra Vaikar defeated Shiv Sena (UBT) Amol Gajanan Kirtikar by 48 votes in the Mumbai North-West seat.

Meanwhile, after BJP did not perform as expected in the Lok Sabha elections in Uttar Pradesh, SP leader Shivpal Yadav on Thursday took a dig at BJP and claimed that if elections are held today, SP government will be formed in the state.

Yadav told ANI, “BJP should resign on moral grounds.Under the leadership of Akhilesh Yadav, so many Samajwadi Party candidates have won that if elections are held in Uttar Pradesh today, the Samajwadi Party government will be formed in the state.

Shivpal Yadav said, "People have elected the biggest devotee of Lord Ram with record votes."

The counting of 2024 Lok Sabha elections took place on Tuesday. According to the Election Commission of India, Samajwadi Party (SP) won 37 seats, BJP won 33 seats, Congress won 6 seats, Rashtriya Lok Dal - RLD won 2 seats, Azad Samaj Party (Kanshi Ram) and Apna Dal ( Sonilal) won 1 seat.Every Lok Sabha election in Uttar Pradesh.
