While talking to ANI, Arun said, "The Hathras incident happened due to the chaos created by the organizers and the opposition policy is wrong."

The minister said that the Hathras incident was very unfortunate and added: "The organizers created chaos as such a big accident occurred and many people lost their lives. Our first job was to rescue so that the injured could get treatment and the families of the deceased were able to identify the deceased."

Talking about an investigation, Asim said, "Now after the incident, an investigation is going on to find out who is responsible for the incident and the investigation report will come soon. We are working to improve the systems in future." "The Chief Minister has constituted a commission of inquiry, whose report will also come soon and action will be taken against the culprits."

A three-member Judicial Commission of Inquiry has been constituted under the chairmanship of Justice (retd) Brijesh Kumar Srivastava to ensure completeness of the matter and transparency of investigation.

The Commission will investigate the stampede incident and submit its report in the next two months.

Meanwhile, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Friday visited the families affected by the Hathras stampede and urged Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to provide fair compensation to the victims.

Rahul Gandhi, who reached Hathras early in the morning, met the grieving families of those who lost their lives in the July 2 tragedy at a 'Satsang' religious event of self-styled god Suraj Pal alias 'Bhole Baba' in the village from Fulari. in Hathras of Uttar Pradesh, which claimed 121 lives.

On his way to Hathras, the Congress leader also stopped over at Aligarh to meet the families of the victims. He expressed his condolences and sought to understand his situation.

"It is a sad incident. Many lives have been lost. I am not approaching this from a political perspective but addressing the shortcomings of the administration. The top priority should be to provide maximum compensation to the poor families affected by this tragedy.
