Mumbai, Harmanpreet Kaur will lead the 15-member Indian squad for the Women's T20 Asia Cup to be played in Sri Lanka from July 19, having currently been on duty in the ongoing T20I series against South Africa in Chennai.

Aggressive opening batsman Smriti Mandhana, who was performing brilliantly in the match against South Africa, has been made the vice-captain. India lost the first match of the three-match series by 12 runs and will face the visiting team in the second match on Sunday.

Apart from the 15 players in the main squad, Shweta Sehrawat, Saika Ishaq, Tanuja Kanwar and Meghna Singh have been included as traveling reserves.

India have been placed in Group A of the tournament along with arch-rivals Pakistan (July 19), UAE (July 21) and Nepal (July 23).

All matches will be played at Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium. India are the defending champions and have won the competition a record seven times.
