New Delhi, Telecom gear maker GX Group expects its revenue to grow 66 per cent to Rs 500 crore by fiscal 2026 due to growth in domestic business as well as exports, a top company official has said.

The company makes gigabit passive optical network (GPON) gear that is necessary to run fiber-based broadband networks. GX Group also manufactures routers and switches as well as Internet of Things (IoT) devices in India.

GX Group CEO Paritosh Prajapati said that the company wants to expand its manufacturing unit in India with an investment of Rs 100 crore in the current financial year.

According to him, benefits from the telecom production linked incentive (PLI) scheme is one of the key growth drivers for the company.“We have achieved 40 per cent year-on-year growth for consecutive years, helping us become a Rs 300 crore to Rs 500 crore company in the next two financial years.

“We plan to make India our global hub, hence, we are transferring technology and knowledge and investing in our new research and development center in Chennai,” Prajapati said.

GX Group was the first telecom gear manufacturer to meet PLI targets and receive incentives from the government.

"We expect 120 percent export growth for major telcos in Africa, Europe and Southeast Asian countries, mainly due to the shift from software to hardware exports," Prajapati said.

He said that the production capacity of GX Group has increased almost five times since the day of establishment of our manufacturing facility.“This financial year we are looking around and finding a facility. The land, machinery and building will cost around Rs 100 crore.

“We are expanding our production capacity to support new markets, as well as new product lines where the new facility is being evaluated. Here we are partnering with state governments like Gujarat, Tamil Nadu and UP for the best possible access to the export market. "Talking together."
