"Today we not only reviewed but also discussed 17 ambitious projects for Gwalior. We received many suggestions and based on them, we made some changes and moved forward. Gwalior is evolving and the Gwalior of the future is being built under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and CM Mohan Yadav Together, we will renew the historic and glorious legacy of Gwalior, keeping our culture at the forefront while recreating the Gwalior of the future,” Scindia told reporters after the meeting.

The Union Minister also highlighted various development projects in Gwalior and their benefits to the public.

Meanwhile, Scindia addressed concerns over the quality of Delhi, Jabalpur and Gwalior airports following the recent incidents due to rains.

"As for the Delhi airport, that department is no longer under my jurisdiction. However, I have always believed, be it the Civil Aviation, Telecom, North Eastern Region or Steel departments, that no injustice towards the public should be tolerated, and any deficiencies must be corrected," he stated.

"I can talk specifically about the Jabalpur and Gwalior airports. As for the Jabalpur airport, it has a tarpaulin roof, and when water accumulates on the tarpaulin, it can create problems because it lacks cement or concrete. If If there were any shortcomings, we would certainly solve them," the Union Minister added.

Commenting on Gwalior airport, Scindia stated that the problem was temporary and had already been resolved.

"As far as Gwalior airport is concerned, I don't think it is a permanent problem. It was a temporary problem; one day it rained heavily, which caused a blockage in the drainage, which caused water to accumulate in the outside arrivals area "The drain was cleaned in four hours and there are no more problems. The road is clean and no water has accumulated due to the leak. These things can also happen in our houses."
