GURUGRAM: Three cars and an auto rickshaw were gutted in a massive fire that broke out in a vacant plot behind Rajput Vatika on Old Delhi Road, where the vehicles were parked, a fire official said on Saturday.

There is no news of any casualty in the incident.

Bhi Nagar fire station officer Ramesh Kumar Saini said, "A total of three fire tenders from Bhim Nagar and Udyog Vihar stations were sent to the spot to extinguish the fire and the fire was brought under control."

Saini said that the cause of the fire is not yet known.

A senior fire officer said that he received information about the fire at around 12 noon.

The officer said it appeared that the fire first started in a tree, spread rapidly due to leather and foam waste lying on the plot and later spread to the vehicles. He told that people who saw the fire informed the fire brigade. pt core
