The highest turnout was recorded in Punhana assembly constituency at 58.50 percent, while the lowest turnout was recorded in Badshahpur at 45.50 percent.

Voting in Gurgaon was initially slow but started picking up as the voting progressed. Till the time of writing the news, no untoward incident has been reported from the assembly constituency.

Gurgaon is one of the 10 Lok Sabha constituencies in Haryana with 25.73 lakh registered voters.

Deputy Commissioner Nishant Kumar Yadav, who is also the District Electoral Officer (DEO), visited several polling stations throughout the day to take stock of the voting process.

“Elections in the district were conducted without any violence. Some minor flaws were found in the EVM, which were immediately rectified. As per the instructions of the Election Commission, EVMs will be kept under CCTV surveillance and three levels of security.

The main contest in Gurgaon is between sitting BJP MP Rao Inderjit Singh and Congress's actor-politician Raj Babbar.

Haryanvi singer Rahul Yadav alias Fazilpuriya of Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) and Haji Sohrab Khan of Indian National Lok Sabha (INLD) are also in the fray.

In 2019, the constituency recorded a voter turnout of 67.38 percent.
