Ahmedabad: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is leading in 24 Lok Sabha seats in Gujarat and Congress is leading in one seat, according to the latest trends of the ongoing vote counting for 25 seats in the state on Tuesday.

Except Patan, BJP candidates are leading on all 24 seats.

BJP's Surat candidate Mukesh Dalal has already been declared the unopposed winner from Surat seat.

Hence, voting took place on 25 out of the total 26 seats in the state.

In Gandhinagar, Union Home Minister Amit Shah is leading over Congress candidate Sonal Patel by 2.14 lakh votes.

In Rajkot seat, BJP candidate Parshottam Rupala is leading by 1.11 lakh votes, leaving behind his Congress rival Paresh Dhanani.

In Porbandar, BJP candidate Mansukh Mandaviya is leading by a margin of over 1.24 lakh votes, leaving his Congress rival Lalit Vasoya behind.

BJP candidate from Vadodara Hemang Joshi is also leading by 1.33 lakh votes. Congress candidate Jashpal Singh Padhiyar is trailing.

BJP's Mansukh Vasava is leading in Bharuch seat by a margin of more than 58,000 seats.

Congress candidate Chandanji Thakor is leading by 9,587 votes in Patan seat.

BJP candidate Rekha Chaudhary is leading over her Congress rival in Banaskantha seat.

Aam Aadmi Party candidates are trailing in both Bharuch and Bhavnagar seats.
