Gandhinagar, Gujarat BJP president and sitting MP CR Patil on Tuesday won the Navsari Lok Sabha seat by a margin of 7.73 lakh votes, handing a crushing defeat to his nearest Congress rival Naishadh Desai.

With this victory, Patil has secured his fourth consecutive term in the Lok Sabha.

As per the data shared by the Election Commission of India after the counting of votes on Tuesday, the counting of votes for the Lok Sabha elections is underway, Patil got 10,31,035 votes, while Desai got 2,57,514 votes.

In the 2019 general elections, Patil won by a huge margin by securing 6.89 lakh votes.
