Noida/Lucknow, The Uttar Pradesh government on Wednesday said it is pushing for the development of Inter-State Bus Terminal (ISBT) at Bodaki, Greater Noida, to create an integrated facility for passengers.

This center will offer connectivity to the local bus terminal (LBT) and Noida metro, the government said in a statement issued in Lucknow.

The project is part of a larger plan to establish a multi-modal transport hub in Uttar Pradesh. Located on the Delhi-Howrah railway line, Bodaki will be connected to NH-91, integrating railway, highway, bus and metro services, he said.

"The project, spanning 358 acres, includes preparation of a Detailed Project Report (DPR) by the National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC) for ISBT and LBT," the government said.

"General consultants have been appointed for the study, design, master planning and preparation of EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) documents," he said.

The government said efforts are also focused on developing rail infrastructure and shopping centers.

The North Central Railway is constructing passenger terminals, station buildings, platforms, maintenance yards, tracks and staff quarters, he said.

"They are also planning railway bridges (ROBs) and underpasses," he added.

The government further said that Noida Metro's Aqua line is being extended up to Depot station as per a DPR by Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC).

Improvements in road connectivity include development of a 105-metre main road and a 60-metre highway linking Bodaki to NH-91, the government said.

"This includes a flyover in Lambda sector and a railway bridge over NH-91, managed by Uttar Pradesh Bridge Corporation," he said.

Additionally, the area is being developed into a commercial hub with plans for office spaces, shopping malls, hotels, shopping centers and multi-level parking facilities, he said.
