The minor son of a Noida, Greater Noida businessman, who went missing on May 1, was found dead in nearby Bulandshahr district on Sunday, a police officer said.

It is being told that the body of an eighth class student was found on the banks of a canal in Bulandshahr.

Krishna Kumar Sharma, who runs 'Shiva Da Dhaba' in Greater Noida, said that on May 1, a woman had come to his 14-year-old son Kunal to his eatery, and he left with her but never returned.

Sharma said in his complaint to the police, "Around 2.15 pm, the woman came and took my son with her. When he did not return for a long time, we called his mobile phone but it was switched off.,

The police again registered an FIR under IPC section 363 (kidnapping) against unknown persons the same night and started investigation.

A CCTV footage also surfaced on social media, which allegedly showed Bo walking towards a car and sitting inside it without any man physically forcing her to do so.

Additional Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Shivhari Meena said several police teams have been deployed in the case and CCTV footage is also being analyzed.

“A fact came to light in the case that the boy had gone (in a car) with a girl. The police are calling those who are under suspicion in the case and interrogating them.Besides, other aspects of the case are also being investigated," H said.

Meena said, "Today, the boy's body was found on the banks of a canal in nearby Bulandshah district. Further legal proceedings are being taken. Some more important facts have come to light and the case will be revealed soon.,

In February, the 16-year-old son of a businessman in Greater Noida was allegedly murdered by his friends and his body was dumped in a canal. The body was recovered after an 11-day search operation.

Vaibhav Singhal, son of a businessman from Bilaspur city, was strangled to death by two of his friends on January 30, allegedly over a personal dispute involving the girlfriend of an accused.

After this incident, local residents staged a huge protest and closed the markets of the area for a few days, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also took stock of the law and order situation.
