"Expected to generate around 15,000 jobs, it will position the terminal area as a major logistics hub in the National Capital Region (NCR). The proposal will now be sent to the government for approval," the statement said.

On drinking water supply, the board was informed about the progress of Ganga water project and said that out of 58 residential areas, 44 are getting water supply.

"The project aims to supply (water) to all 58 sectors by the end of the year, with work underway to extend the supply to Greater Noida West (also known as Noida Extension)," GNIDA said.

The board also approved the revised pet registration policy, which abolished registration fees and provided for imposition of fine for unregistered pets."Pet owners should use the service lifts and designated feeding points, which will be identified jointly by the residents of the society and its Apartment Owners Association (AOA)," it said.
