Noida, Greater Noida authority has launched a new scheme for allotment of five builder plots, which is expected to generate minimum revenue of Rs 500 crore and construction of 8,000 new flats in the city.

The allotment will be done through e-auction with online registration for the process starting from Tuesday, an official statement said.

"If these plots are sold at the reserve price, the authority expects to generate around Rs 500 crore. The allotment will be done through e-auction, potentially leading to construction of around 8,000 new flats," the authority said. "

According to the statement, the builder department of Greater Noida Authority has started this scheme, in which a total of 99,000 square meters of land will be allotted.

It said these plots are located in Omicron 1, Mu, Sigma 3, Alpha 2 and Pi 1 and 2, ranging in size from 3,999 square meters to 30,470 square meters.

Brochures for the scheme are available for download on the website of Greater Noida Authority www.greaternoidaauthority.in, and applications can be submitted online through the SBI portal https://etender.sbi.

It said that the last date for registration is July 23, the last date for submission of registration fee, EMD (Earnest Money Deposit) and processing fee has been set for July 26.

It said that the document submission work should be completed by July 29 and possession of the plots will be given immediately after allotment.
