As part of a two-day visit to his Kuppam constituency after taking charge as Chief Minister, Chandrababu Naidu visited the incomplete branch of the Handri-Neeva Srujala Sravanthi at Santhipuram of Chinnari Doddi.

The Chief Minister paid rich tributes to TDP founder late NT Rama Rao.

Later, in a public meeting, Chandrababu Naidu admitted that the new government is now facing several challenges and stated that "despite all this, all necessary steps will be taken to take the State on a progressive path."

Chandrababu termed the five-year rule of the YSRCP as a nightmare and said corruption is rampant in all parts of the state.

"We will soon issue white papers on the sectors that have been severely affected and new passbooks will soon be issued to farmers with official seal after removing photographs of YSRCP president Jagan Mohan Reddy," the Chief Minister told the people.

Acknowledging that out of the nine times he has been elected as an Assembly member, eight times he won the Kuppam elections, the Chief Minister admitted that he has an everlasting bond with the people of Kuppam.

"If there is any rebirth, I would like to be a son of this land," he added.

Recalling that he had selected Kuppam only to develop the segment because it was a backward area, Chandrababu promised to transform Kuppam as the model Assembly segment in the country with a perfect action plan.

The Chief Minister thanked the DWCRA groups for donating Rs 4.5 million for the construction of the capital.

Chandrababu Naidu also assured the people of Kuppam that all necessary measures will be taken to complete the Handri-Neeva Srujala Sravanthi branch canal at the earliest to supply water to every acre of the area.

"The previous government distributed Rs 10 to each beneficiary of the welfare scheme, but stole Rs 100 from each of them. But this government will pay Rs 15 to each and show a way to earn Rs 100," he added.

Asserting that the state government will take all possible measures to increase the standard of living of all, Chandrababu recalled that out of the seven Assembly segments in the Chittoor Lok Sabha constituency, the people fully elected the Alliance in all the seven segments. , which, he said, is history. .

Chandrababu said that most of the candidates who were given the opportunity in the recent elections are highly educated, while 17 newly elected MLAs are given the opportunity in the Cabinet.

Observing that TDP always encourages the youth and weaker sections of the society, Chandrababu Naidu said that as far as Kuppam is concerned, everyone is his supporter and he supports everyone as he does not have any particular section here. .

Recalling how the previous government looted Kuppam, particularly the granite reserves here, he said the local people were harassed by imposing false cases on them, particularly when he was planning his visit here.

Promising minimum support prices for all agricultural produce, especially cash crops, the Chief Minister assured them that all necessary steps would be taken to increase dairy products.

"My life's ambition is to eliminate poverty. I will re-form the Kuppam Area Development Authority," he said.

The Chief Minister promised to provide employment to the youth and said that the salary dues of the staff members of the Dravidian University will be released soon.

Chandrababu Naidu promised to transform Kuppam as an educational center and also complete all pending projects in the constituency. Many local TDP leaders also made donations for the construction of the capital.
