Panaji, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has said Congress MP Rahul Gandhi should apologize to the Lok Sabha and crores of Hindus across the world for his comments on the community.
Gandhi, leader of opposition in the Lok Sabha, on Monday took a dig at the ruling BJP in the House, saying people who call themselves Hindus are engaged in "violence and hatred" round the clock.
He said, "All religions and all our great men talk about non-violence and fearlessness, but those who call themselves Hindus only talk about violence, hatred and lies... You are not a Hindu."
After Gandhi's comment, Goa CM Sawant called Congress arrogant.
Sawant said on his " ,
He said, "The arrogance and audacity of Congress and Indian National Congress leaders to make fun of Sanatan Dharma/Hindus is highly condemnable."
