Bhadohi (UP), A 16-year-old girl was allegedly raped by three teenage boys and also filmed the act and posted it on the internet, police said on Friday.
He said that three teenagers aged between 15 and 17 years have been detained.
Gopiganj police station in-charge Santosh Kumar Singh said that on June 1, the girl had gone to a shop in the neighborhood when three boys forcibly pulled her into a room and raped her one by one.
He also recorded a video of the act and threatened her, he said.
The police station in-charge said that the teenagers started harassing her to come to the shop again but when the girl did not agree, the three teenagers posted the video on social media on Thursday.
He said that when the victim's family came to know about the incident, they went to the police and lodged a complaint against the three teenagers.
Singh said the girl was sent for medical examination on Friday, while the three boys were sent to a juvenile home in Mirzapur district.
