Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India]: Hitting back at Samajwadi Party leader Ra Gopal Yadav over his indecent remarks on the Ram temple in Ayodhya, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday said that whether it is the SP or its ally Congress, they are the original Formally it is 'Congress'. In an interview to a Hindi television news channel earlier in the day, Ra Gopal, cousin of late SP patriarch and former chief minister Mulayam Singh Yadav, termed the Ram temple as 'Baker Mandir'. The senior SP leader said, "It (Ram temple) is a worthless temple. The blueprint of the temple was flawed and it was not built as per Vaastu." Speaking to ANI on Tuesday, CM Yogi said, "These are the same people who opened fire on Kar Sevaks and denied the existence of Lord Ram.He said, "Whether it is Samajwadi Party or Congress, they are basically anti-Hindu and anti-Ram." These are the same people who opened fire on kar sevaks and denied the existence of Lord Ram. Therefore, it is meaningless to expect from such leaders that they will be sensitive to the religious sentiments of the majority of the country's population and our accepted deities. Ram Gopal Yadav's statement has exposed the real face of the Indian Alliance, Samajwadi Party and Congress. Yogi said that they are playing with our faith and emotions to please and cater to their vote bank.He said opposition leaders are forced to air such views to benefit their vote bank amid the ongoing Lok Sabha elections. They can go to any extent to please their vote bank. He made every effort to place the ownership dispute in the Supreme Court and ensure the settlement of the case. When he came to power at the Center in 2014, the proceedings gained momentum, today the temple stands proudly at the birthplace of Ram Lalla and is visible across the country. And people from foreign countries are coming to the temple,” Yogi said.
