Swiatek won 6–1, 6–2 in quick time, thus recording her 15th consecutive win at the French Open, improving her first round record at Roland Garros to 6–0. She is the first woman to win 15 consecutive matches at the French Open since Justine Henin, who won 24 consecutive matches between 2005–10.

The 22-year-old Swiatek broke through with a dominant game in the very first game of the match, pinning Janzen at the back of the court with a precise return and the Pole finished it off by smashing a forehand return winner past the left tramline.

After a break point at 3-1, Swiatek launched from the left and hit a winner to assert her dominance. He won the first set 6-1 without breaking much sweat.

In the second set and Jeanjean prepared her immediate break. But Swiate fought back immediately and regained the initiative. Although she easily won by hitting twenty-six winners, what won't make Swiatek happy in the slightest is the 18 unforced errors she made on Monday.

Swiatek arrived at Roland-Garros on a 12-match winning streak after collecting WTA 1000 titles in Madrid and Rome.
