New Delhi: A four-storey residential building collapsed within minutes in Kalyanpuri area of East Delhi. Officials gave this information on Saturday.
No one was injured, as the building had already been evacuated.
According to a Delhi Fire Service official, the tilting of a building in the area was reported at 4.50 pm.
"By the time our team arrived, the building had been evacuated. Local police had already arrived and the lane was barricaded on both ends," the officer said.
He told that the building collapsed after a few minutes.
Some neighboring buildings suffered some damage.
