Only 16 percent preferred working exclusively from the office, it said, adding that more than 80 percent of the workforce prefers flexible working spaces rather than traditional offices.

The survey saw participation from over 1,000 employees from SMEs, corporates and some enterprises across Delhi-NCR. TOP's latest survey was to assess the changes in behavior adopted by employees to make themselves comfortable during the summer months.

"The findings are a clear indicator of the need to adapt to changing climate conditions and also find simple solutions to day-to-day challenges," Aditya Verma, founder and CEO of TOP, said in a statement.

According to the survey, 63 percent respondents preferred smart casual, followed by 31 percent super casual, indicating a balance between comfort and professionalism.

Interestingly, white emerged as the most preferred color for office attire during summer with 57 per cent of respondents choosing it as their favorite shade. This was followed by blue at 18 percent, beige (12 percent) and gray (6 percent).
