Police said the arrested criminals have been booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act at Sohna City Police Station.

The arrested accused have been identified as Anil Sharma, Sahil Ahmed, Anish and Zuber.

After receiving a tip-off, a team from the crime unit of Sohna in Gurugram arrested the suspects. Police said the suspects were in town to sell drugs.

During interrogation, the accused revealed that they had ordered drugs from Rajasthan for Rs 9.70 lakh for potential customers in Faridabad. They wanted to sell it in the market at a higher margin.

Police also recovered two cars that were used to transport the illegal contraband.

Gurugram police spokesperson Sandeep Kumar said, "Four NDPS cases were registered against Anil in Delhi and Faridabad. We are checking other criminal records."
