Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh Police's STF has arrested four people in connection with question paper leak in the examinations conducted by Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission. This information was given on Sunday.

The Special Task Force (STF) said in a statement that the arrests were made in Lucknow on Saturday.

The arrested accused are Sharad Singh Patel and Abhishek Shukla of Lucknow, Kamlesh Kumar Pal and Arpit Vineet of Prayagraj. One question paper, Rs 2.02 lakh in cash, nine mobile phones, two Aadhaar cards and two cars were seized from the accused, the statement said.

In this connection, on March 14, STF had arrested Arun Kumar and Saurabh Shukla from Lucknow. He had arrested Amit Singh from Lucknow on April 4.

STF said that a case has been registered against the accused at Manjhanpur police station under the provisions of the Indian Penal Code and IT Act.

On 2 March, following reports of paper leak, the Uttar Pradesh government canceled the preliminary examination held on 11 February for the recruitment of Review Officers and Assistant Review Officers.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had directed to conduct the examination again within six months.
