London, Formula E on Wednesday announced a three-year media partnership with Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI) to broadcast all electric racing series tours across the Indian subcontinent.

SPNI will telecast all the races of the 10th season of the championship on its network of television channels and fans will also be able to watch the action on the streaming platform Sony Liv.

"The 10th racing season of Formula E will be broadcast live on Sony Sports Network across India, with coverage extending to Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka," a Formula E statement said.

SPNI has a history with Formula E, having broadcast its content during the fourth, fifth and sixth seasons.

India's Jehan Daruwala is part of the championship representing MSG Racing.

“I'm excited to pursue my Formula E racing career, knowing I have a huge and passionate fanbase behind me through Sony Pictures Networks. Joining Maserati MSG Racing is a dream come true, and I'm very excited to be a part of the team." I am determined to do my best for the fans back home, and around the world,” Daruwala said.

The 10th season of the championship will see 11 race teams compete in 16 races in 10 prestigious cities, including debuts in Misano (Italy) and Shanghai.

As well as these new venues, the championship will return to Mexico City, Diriyah Sao Paulo, Monaco, Berlin and Portland before the season finale in London on July 20-21.
