New Delhi: Former SoftBank Investment Advisors managing partner Lydia Jet has rejoined the board of Flipkart, the e-commerce major said on Monday.

Jett was on the board of Flipkart in 2017 but stepped down after about a year.

"Flipkart Group... has announced the appointment of experienced investment executive and former managing partner of SoftBank Investment Advisors, Lydia Jett, as a board member with effect from June 26, 2024," the e-commerce firm said in a statement.

Jet, a US-based venture capitalist, has over two decades of experience investing in and serving on the boards of market-leading consumer technology businesses.

As founding managing partner of SoftBank Investment Advisors (SBIA), Jett led the global consumer Internet and e-commerce sectors.
