In his application filed in the sub-divisional magistrate's court, Vishvendra Singh also sought maintenance expenses from his wife Divya Singh and son Anirud Singh. He has filed the application under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007.

At the same time, former Bharatpur MP Divya Singh and her son have accused Vishvendra Singh of selling ancestral property and tarnishing their image.

In his application, 62-year-old Vishvendra Singh said he was suffering from heart disease and could not cope with depression. Despite being infected with COVID-19 twice in 2021 and 2022, his wife and son failed to take care of him.Vishvendra Singh alleged in his application, "For the past few years, my wife and son have started rebelling against me. They beat me up, burnt my documents and clothes and misbehaved with me and also stopped me from eating. Gave."

"I was forbidden to meet anyone and they tortured me for a long time inside the palace. Eventually, they threw me out of the house and I have been living elsewhere for many years."

He said, “Since being thrown out of the palace, I have been living a nomadic life.Initially I stayed in my government residence in Jaipur and later in hotels. They kept stopping me from going to the palace."

The former minister claimed that ancestral property worth crores of rupees, including several antiques, trophies, paintings and furniture, was in the possession of his wife and son.

Singh has demanded Rs 5 lakh per month as maintenance from his wife and son, along with transfer of ownership of the palace and all properties to him.

After a media report regarding Vishvendra Singh's application was published on Sunday, his wife and son held a press conference in Bharatpur and denied all the allegations.He accused them of harassing him and tarnishing his image.

Divya Singh said, "I am trying to secure my property while he has sold everything. The family dispute escalated when Vishvendra Singh tried to sell Moti Maha Mahal. My son Anirudh Singh is taking care of me. Used to be."

Anirudh Singh said that his father had filed an application in the court in March calling his allegations false.He said, "He is making such allegations to defame us.
