Bhognadih (Sahibganj), Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Sunday declared a “revolt” against “feudal forces”, claiming that the opposition Bharat faction will oust the BJP from the entire country.

Addressing a rally here on the occasion of 'Hull Day', Soren also claimed that the saffron party has become "panic" after his release from jail and its leaders are again "conspiring" against him.

"I have come out of my house to address you on 'Hool Day' for the first time after my release. It is a day of inspiration for all of us. Like the Santhal rebellion against the British, we declare 'Hool Rebellion' We do." Drive out feudal forces not only from Jharkhand but from the entire country.”

This day marks the Santhal rebellion of 1855 against the British.

“I was implicated in false cases… The Center has deployed its investigating agencies to harass those who raised their voice against it. It has only been two days since I came out of jail, but BJP is nervous. Top leaders of the party are continuously coming to Jharkhand and plotting against me again."

Soren also said that Jharkhand is known as the land of revolutionaries and "we are not afraid of jail, lathi or hanging".

The former CM was released from Birsa Munda jail on Friday after the Jharkhand High Court granted him bail in a money laundering case.

The JMM working president was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on January 31 in a money laundering case related to an alleged land scam.
