New Delhi [India], Former Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police Shesh Paul Vaid on Monday said that the National Investigation Agency taking over the investigation of Reasi terror attack case from Jammu and Kashmir Police will help in arresting those involved in it.

Former Jammu and Kashmir DGP Vaid said, "I think it is a good step. The NIA will investigate it in detail and find out who is responsible. The terrorists are from Pakistan and they will be killed."

“The security forces will not spare them,” he said.But, it should be found out who helped these terrorists. Action should be taken against them also. NIA will look into all such aspects."

Meanwhile, the NIA has launched a thorough investigation to ascertain the underlying conspiracy behind the attack, which has raised concerns over the security conditions in the Union Territory, officials said on Monday.

The anti-terrorism agency took over the case from the Jammu and Kashmir Police on June 15 and filed a fresh First Information Report (FIR) following orders from the Home Ministry, keeping in mind the seriousness of the incident as the attackers boarded a bus.
