Karachi, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has appointed former middle-order batsman and chief selector Muhammad Wasim as the head coach of the women's team for the Asia Cup to be held in July.

Wasim, who was the chief selector during Ramiz Raja's tenure as PCB chairman, will be assisted by former Test bowlers Junaid Khan and Abdul Rehman, who have been appointed as bowling and assistant coaches.

There has been a long time change in the women's team management in the white ball format after a string of poor performances, with the soft surrender against England being the latest on the list.
