The incident is being reported from the Hardi area of the district, where a minor girl living in her grandmother's house was kidnapped by the accused, she was converted to her religion and she was gang-raped.
The five accused were arrested on Saturday.
The mother told police that her minor daughter, who was at her grandmother's house near Raji intersection, was abducted on February 2 by five youths from the neighbourhood, who converted her to their religion and gang-raped her.
A case was registered and Superintendent of Police (SP) Vrinda Shukla along with other officials visited the spot and directed to collect evidence for strict action against the accused. The girl told that the youth had threatened to kill her if she opened her mouth.
