Mumbai: Two unidentified persons riding a motorcycle opened fire outside the residence of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan in Mumbai on Sunday morning, a police officer said.
The two men fired four rounds around 5 a.m. outside Galaxy Apartments in Bandra area, where the actor lives, the officer said.
He said that the local police and crime branch have started investigating the incident.
Police said a team of forensic science experts also reached the spot.
In March last year, Khan had received a threat e-mail in his office, following which the Mumbai Police filed an FIR against gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldie Brar.
