New Delhi: A fire broke out in a residential flat here on Saturday, the official said, adding that no injuries were reported.
"Around 7 pm, a PCR call was received at the Malviya Nagar police station regarding a fire incident in a house in DDA Flats Sheikh Sarai," a senior police officer said.
The officer further said that the incident occurred due to a short circuit in the window AC unit on the first floor of the three-storey building.
"A fire brigade reached the spot and extinguished the fire. Some household items like refrigerators, LCDs were damaged due to the fire," the officer said.
