New Delhi: A fire broke out in a three-storey residential building in West Delhi's Hari Nagar area, fire officials said on Wednesday.

An official of the Delhi FIR Services Department (DFS) said, no casualties were reported.

A fire was reported on the second floor of the building at 2 pm. Two fire tenders were pressed into service and the fire was brought under control within minutes, the official said.

He told that some girl students were living in the building as paying guests.

He said that the residents of the building were taken to a safe place after the fire and no one was injured during the incident.

Police said that there is a possibility of fire due to short circuit.
